this is how the government sells its continued destruction of the
constitutionally guaranteed rights of We The People while they
transfer our wealth to the bloated and growing "security" industry which
helps get cooperative politicians re-elected, and attempts to further
condition the masses to passively accept the dominance of a small elite kleptocracy
United Airlines responded to a complaint about the TSA that
contained the following:
...we are unable to change or influence the TSA on policies that
ensure the safety of our travelers. ...we recommend you contact the
TSA...
Here is my reply:
Please forward this message to your upper management.
The TSA is simply out of control and doesn't give a damn about people's
complaints. I expect the airlines to support the concerns of their
customers and use their lobbying ability in Washington DC to help bring
about the end of these violations of constitutionally guaranteed rights.
Until this situation with naked body scanners and sexually assaulting
"pat-downs" is reversed, this long-time frequent flier will simply
refuse to fly.
I'm actually enjoying the long relaxing drives and will probably
continue taking many of them, even after the boycott. My employer is
very understanding of my concerns and decision to drive, even if it
means several extra days away from the office for business trips. My web
sight is very actively promoting a boycott of all flying and I advocate
it in person the the large number of travelers I know. This is only
going to get worse for the airline profits.
I very strongly suggest that the airlines band together to help fight
against the TSA in a very public way. This would be a very wise PR
decision. Make public requests that your airports exercise their
right to abandon the TSA. Use your combined lobbying capability. Take
over airport security for yourselves to provide a proper free-market
solution. Most importantly,
DON"T GIVE ME THIS CRAP ABOUT THERE BEING NOTHING THAT AIRLINES CAN DO!

I'm currently planning trips that will require each-way
drives of 8-hours and 24-hours to support the boycott against the
airlines and protest the TSA Perverts
Below is a message sent to the airlines that I ask you to send something
like this as
well, and to everyone in your address book:
After my most recent flying experience, I am completely livid about what airport "security" has become. This is something I've watched evolve during decades of frequent flying.
Today, with the latest sub-millimeter scanning machines, I and even my teenage daughter now have to submit to being exposed naked before a stranger in order to fly. In addition, TSA has admitted that these machines have the ability to save these images and has in fact done so on "occasions".
After choosing to decline this obscene violation of privacy, I then had to submit to an "enhanced" pat-down search which has actually become a groping.
These invasions of our personal privacy and Liberty against unjust search are simply intolerable. Therefore, I have decided to STOP FLYING and drive on all trips from now on. The airlines will not have the business of my entire family. I am actively encouraging the large number of travelers that I know to join me in this boycott of flying.
TSA is simply out of control and must be rolled back to a reasonable level that does not include obscene and perverted invasion of people's Liberty. Please pass this along to the fascist TSA perverts. Meanwhile, it will also be passed along to everyone I know, asking them to send it to all of their friends. Hopefully, this boycott will go viral. Most sincerely, a long time frequent flier.
